Using Affiliate Redirect Watch

4 views Updated 1 day ago

Affiliate Redirect Watch is a monitor flow for affiliate links, campaign tracking URLs, landers, and offer redirects.

When to use it

  • You send paid traffic through a tracking link and need to know where it finally lands
  • You want to detect broken offers, dead landers, or unexpected final-destination changes
  • You want campaign context saved beside the monitor so alerts are easier to understand

Creating an Affiliate Redirect Watch monitor

  1. Open Add Monitor
  2. Choose Affiliate Redirect Watch
  3. Paste your tracking link or campaign URL
  4. Add optional campaign details such as traffic source, campaign name, GEO, tracker, offer, and notes
  5. Use Generate name if you want WebMon to build a monitor name from those fields
  6. Choose your check interval and alert options, then save

Name generation

The name helper can combine fields such as traffic source, campaign name, GEO, tracker, offer, host, and the ARW monitor type code. WebMon skips blank fields and remembers your selected parts in the browser for next time.

Alerts and results

Affiliate Redirect Watch stores the redirect chain, current final URL, hop count, status code, and paid-traffic metadata. If redirect-change alerts are enabled on your plan, WebMon can tell you when the final destination changes.

Tip: keep staging/test campaign links separate from live paid-traffic links when experimenting with new flows.
