Understanding Performance Alerts

29 views Updated 7 minutes ago

Performance alerts help you catch slowdowns before they become critical:

Available Metrics

  • Response Time: Total time to load the page
  • TTFB (Time to First Byte): Server processing time
  • Content Size: Page size in kilobytes

Configuring Thresholds

  1. Go to Profile > Alert Settings
  2. Find performance alert sections
  3. Enable the alerts you want
  4. Set appropriate thresholds
  5. Save settings

Alert Frequency

Performance alerts are limited to one per day per monitor to prevent email overload. If a monitor remains slow, you will receive a single daily reminder rather than repeated hourly alerts.

This applies to all performance alert types (response time, TTFB, content size). Up/down alerts use a separate, shorter cooldown since they are more time-sensitive.
